About the project

Birubi Bistro, a popular restaurant in Anna Bay, sought a refreshing and appealing visual presentation for their brand. They needed imagery that not only showcased their diverse menu but also resonated with their brand ethos of quality, freshness, and a modern culinary experience.

Reflecting the bistro’s focus on the dish

The playful yet sophisticated use of coloured dots on the "i"s injects vibrancy and character, blending fun with professionalism. Designed for maximum versatility, this logo ensures brand consistency across diverse platforms, from signage to printed materials. Its distinctive flair aims not just for aesthetics but also for instant recognition, enhancing brand recall among both regulars and newcomers.

Printed Materials

Weeknight Specials: Clear, bold typography and the distinct colour palette were used to create eye-catching promotional gift vouchers. This not only made the deals pop but maintained brand identity.

Menus: A complete overhaul was given to the menus, incorporating high-quality images of dishes, paired with concise descriptions. The layout was spacious, ensuring readability and comfort for diners.

Other Collaterals: From business cards to takeaway bags, every piece of printed material was given the BiRUBi touch, ensuring a unified brand experience.

A Promotional Website

Additionally, when it came to website design, Colorfast faced the challenge of integrating multiple restaurants – Birubi Bistro, Salt n Spice Bistro, Camellia Bistro, and Nice at Nelson Bay – under Roops' overarching brand, 'Salt n Spice'. Our solution was to craft a consistent and playful website layout that seamlessly blends with the branding of all individual restaurants.

Photography:

Quality: High-resolution images captured the essence of each dish, highlighting textures, colors, and plating techniques. This was essential to make the food visually tantalizing.

Styling: Before the shoot, food stylists worked to present each dish in its most appealing form. This involved choosing the right props, backgrounds, and lighting to create an atmosphere.

Usage: The photographs weren't just restricted to the menu. They found their place on the website and other promotional materials, providing a visual feast and drawing customers in.
